Rosh Hashanna Revelries + The Magic of Yoga
It feels like a new moment, even though there is so much familiar stuff in here.
This weekend, celebrating the Jewish New Year with family and friends reminded me of how even though we may be starting a new cycle, we carry the old patterns with us, somewhere.
The magic of yoga is that we have a chance to do this consciously, and with repeated practice over time, we learn to take different actions, and sometimes patterns can fall away, sometimes we find healing.
This week’s class offerings will be centered on a 3pm class today. I will be covering at ISHTA Yoga Yin, Breathe & Restore Online Live Stream for my teacher @wendynewtonyoga
With the massive amount of activity I’m experiencing right now, moving into a new house, hosting my parents, listening to baby, and learning to reflect accurately for her, finding space for myself to breath, reflect and restore feels scarce.
So, for the next two weeks, because of the Jewish holidays, and my need to space and stillness, our weekly Monday night restorative class @super_bl00m will be paused, returning Monday, October 5th. And prenatal Yoga on Tuesdays will start next week, as per @ishtayoga Fall Schedule of Classes.
I wouldn’t necessarily feel the need to share all of this personal process about space and schedules, where it not for the fact that its such a big learning curve for me to learn new patterns around making space for myself to just be.
I know this can be hard for all of us, so I’m modeling how I do it. If you’d like space to just be, today at 3pm, come to class, or PM me for a guest spot. Sending you love and blessings of abundance, peace and joy for this new cycle just beginning. So much love <3 Jenny Bloom
